Uh, hi, everyone. I guess I must've blacked out for the past few days or something....I don't even remember how I wound up here in Cianwood.

But I need to figure out how to get back to Goldenrod. I left some of my stuff there, including my map, as well as somebody pretty important. I mean, I doubt it'll be that difficult to find my way, but it'd be nice to be pointed in the right direction.

[ He stops walking for a moment, and focuses on something beyond the camera. ]

Oh, give me a minute. That person looks like they might know which way I should go.

[ The feed clicks off for a few minutes, during which Junpei presumably asks for the directions back to Goldenrod.

When the feed eventually turns back on, though, Junpei looks just the littlest bit frazzled. But only a little bit. Really. ]

Apparently, the only way out of here is by ferry or by surfing, so, uh.....guess I'm not going back to Goldenrod?

Then it will definitely come to traveling by sea. Or air. But that still involves going over the water... Are you worried you'll fall in the ocean and get attacked by Pokemon?

Oh, traveling by air's not a big deal, I guess. I just...don't want to be on a boat.

Anyway, um... I think your only option if the ferry is out would be to try to fly back?

Flying wouldn't be too bad, I guess. The only problem is that I don't actually have a flying Pokémon to begin with...

In that case, you should head to the Safari Zone! It's bound to have all kinds of flying Pokémon!

The Safari Zone? That sounds like a good idea....how far away is it?

Judging by what I've seen on the map, it's about a three day trek up the mountain... Though I'm sure you could cut it down to about a day and a half if you have a Pokémon you can ride on.

I...don't know if any of my Pokémon are well-suited to riding. I mean, I might be able to hop on Clover's back, but I don't think that would end well....

[ Frowning for a moment as he actually pictures this. Spoiler alert: it ends with him falling off the mountain. ]

I can probably make it on my own, though.

Well... Even if you don't have one you can ride up there, I'm sure you could catch something you could ride back down if you felt so inclined! They have to have more than a few up there that would work for that...

That'll probably have to do. I'd rather not kill myself trying to get up there faster, if only because it seems to defeat the purpose.

Mm! I'm sure you'll find a way back to Goldenrod in no time flat if you put your mind to it!

... and if not, you can always hitch a ride!

...I might have to try doing that, but I'll never know if I don't try in the first place.
